Large global pharma / industrial group (client name held back at the client's request).

What we did

  • Conception (5 months): organizational structure with role and responsibility descriptions; governance, reporting and meeting architecture; capability analyses and workshops
  • Implementation (5 months): rollout of the organizational structure and the new governance, reporting and meeting system; integration of a reporting and monitoring solution for ~300 projects
  • Stabilization (ongoing since March 2024): operation of the new structure; training for 440 global IT-system users; first-level support for 440+ users; test and continuous development management for the reporting / monitoring solution; requirements engineering and test management support
  • Support, mentoring and coaching of the 6-person portfolio management team across project and portfolio management, communication, change and stakeholder management
  • First-level support for users of the project-tracking tool
  • Continuous improvements and iterative framework extensions

Result

Structured portfolio, program and project management capability established globally. 320+ projects now operating under a unified governance. The introduced IT monitoring tool was made the future standard tool for ALL projects across the global organization, not only transformation projects. Stable operations; engagement signed off.
